We chose heavyweight cotton twill for the GUI Cap because it strikes the perfect balance between breathability and structure. The tight diagonal weave resists wear and holds its shape through daily use, while the natural fiber content keeps your head cool during warm weather.
Every seam on the cap features double-needle stitching to prevent fraying, and the six reinforced eyelets provide ventilation without compromising the crown’s integrity. We designed the structured crown with a medium-high profile—not too shallow, not too tall—so the cap sits comfortably on a wide range of head shapes. The interior sweatband is sewn from soft cotton that wicks moisture away from your forehead, preventing irritation during extended wear.
Care Instructions & Longevity
Machine wash the GUI Cap on a gentle cycle with cold water to preserve the cotton twill’s color and structure. We recommend placing the cap inside a mesh garment bag or on the top rack of your dishwasher (without dishes or detergent) to protect the visor during washing.
Air dry the cap by placing it on a rounded object—a coffee can or bowl works perfectly—to help the crown maintain its shape as it dries. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, which can distort the structured panels.

The fabric back strap features a sliding buckle that adjusts the cap’s circumference from 21.5 inches to 24 inches. To tighten, pull the loose end of the strap while pushing the buckle toward the crown. To loosen, pull the buckle away from the crown while gently tugging the strap.
